Frequently Asked Questions About Bulk SMS & Telecom Rules

Typically, BTRC brand masking sender ID approval takes between 2 to 4 working days once valid documents (Trade License, Company Letterhead Request, NID, and e-TIN) are submitted to Grameenphone, Robi, Banglalink, and Teletalk.

Non-masking SMS displays a standard random 11-digit mobile number as the sender, making it ideal for budget promotions. Masking SMS displays your registered business or brand name (up to 11 alphanumeric characters) directly, establishing instant authenticity and higher trust.

English uses GSM 7-bit encoding (160 characters per SMS, 153 for concatenated parts). Bengali text requires UCS-2 16-bit encoding (70 characters for a single SMS, and 67 characters for concatenated segments). A message exceeding 70 Bengali characters automatically bills as multiple parts.

We maintain direct SMPP carrier interconnects with all licensed Bangladeshi telecom operators (GP, Robi, BL, Teletalk). Every delivery receipt (DLR) is generated strictly from true handset-level network handshakes, never simulated.
